Our Origin: A Systemic Solution
As a state-certified S/MBE business, we are uniquely positioned to understand and meet the compliance and diversity goals of our public sector partners. This official standing is rooted in a very practical beginning: ALT Legacy was founded to solve a critical breakdown we witnessed firsthand—people were missing vital medical appointments because of unreliable Medicaid transportation.
Instead of only helping individuals navigate a broken system, we chose to fix the system itself. We started by guiding transportation providers through Connecticut’s complex Medicaid NEMT compliance. Today, we apply that same solution-focused approach to a wider range of sectors, ensuring communities can consistently access the care, services, and opportunities they need.
